As we approach Labor Day, let's focus on a Christian perspective of work and career. We spend as much as a third of our waking hours at work, so it is imperative that we have a Christian understanding of work and career.

Work is a gift and a calling from God. He created us to work (it's not a curse), and we are actually happiest when we find meaningful work. In fact, even God works, and work will be a feature of the resurrected world--only work without the curse of thorns and thistles.
