C.A.R.E.ing Hearts shares Christ's love by serving chronic disease patients, survivors, family members, and caregivers. We give compassion, raise awareness, provide resources, and give encouragement for spiritual and emotional support in their everyday lives.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. – 1 Peter 4:10

COMPASSION

Many of our volunteers have been affected by chronic disease in a personal way, which gives them the heart to provide compassionate, spiritual, and emotional support to those who find themselves walking that road now.

AWARENESS

We are aware of the difficulties of everyday tasks (like transportation, housekeeping, meals, and yardwork) for the chronically ill and their caregivers. That’s why we raise awareness of their needs to those who are in a position to help.

RESOURCES

Collectively, we have a wide range of experiences when it comes to fighting cancer and other diseases. It is our pleasure to share our knowledge and resources to help educate, edify, and equip our brothers and sisters in need.

ENCOURAGEMENT

One of the most difficult and tragic parts of facing a chronic disease is the loneliness, isolation, and grief that sets in between all the treatments and doctors visits. We aim to encourage patients and their families through prayer, phone calls, cards, gift bags, and personal visits.
