The New Day Conference aims to encourage our sister churches by working together to restore the revolutionary mission of Christ’s church: making disciples of all nations.


This year's conference is all ONLINE. We'll be live-streaming all sessions including Thursday night's worship.
You'll be able to chat live during the main sessions, and we'll use Zoom for our breakouts so you can interact with each other and the presenters. Thanks for joining us!

David Young

David Young grew up in the churches of Christ in Middle Tennessee, where he began preaching at the age of 16. He currently serves as the Senior Minister for the North Boulevard Church of Christ in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He has worked for churches in Missouri, Kansas, and Tennessee, taught New Testament at several colleges, and travelled widely teaching and preaching, leading mission trips and hosting tours to the Holy Lands and to other religious sites.

He has published chapters in several books, has circulated numerous papers, and has published several books, including Alive in the Spirit: A Biblical Theology of the Holy Spirit, Extreme Discipleship: Following Jesus from the Gospel of Mark, and NEW DAY: Restoring the Revolutionary Mission of Christ’s Church.

He holds the B.A. from Freed-Hardeman University, the M.A. from Harding University Graduate School of Religion, and the M.A. and Ph.D. in New Testament from Vanderbilt University.

Anthony Walker

Anthony Walker has been preaching the gospel for 20 years. He has been actively involved in the church as a song leader, youth worker, preacher, and any other role God calls him. He is a mentee of Dr. Charles Beaman and assisted him at 40th Avenue Church of Christ for 5 years. While at 40th Avenue he served as an associate minister, bible school teacher, song leader, and youth worker. He participated in the Youth Conference accomplished an unprecedented feat of being Mr. Tennessee State Youth Conference three consecutive years. He attended Lipscomb University in pursuit of an Art Education Degree.

He is currently the full time minister of the Highway 231 Church of Christ in Murfreesboro, Tn where he has labored there for the past 10 years. During his tenure there, Hwy 231 has grown tremendously in membership and in service. He is a sought after speaker for gospel meetings and workshops. He has worked on several lectureships on the state, regional, and national levels as an a secretary, workshop coordinator, and speaker.

He and his wife, Jenny, recently celebrated 9 years of marriage in March. They are the proud parents of 2 young children: a son, Remington, and a daughter, Reign.

Bro. Walker delivers the Word in a simple, powerful, thought provoking manner that causes us all to examine our soul salvation.

Bobby Harrington

Bobby is the point-leader of Renew.org and Discipleship.org, both collaborative, disciple-making organizations. He is the founding and lead pastor of Harpeth Christian Church (by the Harpeth River, just outside of Nashville, TN). He has an M.A.R. and an M.Div. from Harding School of Theology and a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the author of more than 10 books on discipleship, including Discipleshift (with Jim Putman and Robert Coleman), The Disciple Maker’s Handbook(with Josh Patrick) and Becoming a Disciple Maker: The Pursuit of Level 5 Disciple Making(with Greg Weins). He lives in the greater Nashville area with his wife and near his children and grandchildren.
